Eliel Pierre

Eliel Pierre is a first generation Haitian-American and uses his voice to highlight the challenges of existing within the margins. He studied communications at Gardner-Webb University before starting his writing career as a contributor for NPOs and the online magazine Elite Daily. The poet and author of Crowned Confessions currently studies abroad in Germany, where he has been published in local newspapers and co-created Honest Hour, an event showcasing artists of color in the genres of film, poetry, and non-fiction.
